Apartment Turchette is located on the 3rd floor (no elevator) of a typically Venetian building in the heart of Dorsoduro. The apartment faces a lovely private garden, making it a very tranquil choice of accommodation.
The apartment is composed of two comfortable double bedrooms, a spacious living/dining area, with a fully equipped kitchen corner and dining table. The kitchen has all the necessary modern appliances and utensils.
The apartment, although modernly refurbished has exposed wood beams and the traditional dormer window.
The apartments makes for an excellent holiday apartment for two couples or a family with young children.
Please be advised that Apartment Turchette is located on the 3rd floor (4th floor U.S.) and there is no elevator.

A very chic, centrally located apartment with the water bus stops close by and also can visit many sites like Rialto and San Marco on foot. The only challenge was no elevator but that is the case with most places in Venice. Very spacious and well kept. We would certainly recommend to anyone for a great stay in Venice!

My daughter and I stayed for 3 nights and loved the airiness of the apt. The kitchen/living area is a bit of a corridor but we didn't use it really as we got out fairly early in the morning and came back in the evening to get ready for dinner which we ate out. Many decent restaurants in the area - a lovely place to stay on a beautiful quiet canal. Owner very helpful and charming. Whole experience from booking with Worldwide Accom to staying was perfectly fine for us. Would go again. You do have to be quite fit to get to the third floor though and a few times I wished we were on the lower levels. We saw the other appts and they looked good too - all fairly minimal but light and airy.

We had a really good stay. The double bed in the 2nd bedroom can actually be separated into 2 single beds, which worked better for our 2 children. The owner was very helpful. He emailed us detailed directions before our arrival, and showed us all the local places on the map. The apartment is very close to one of the vaporetto stops, but we walked everywhere in Venice. There are quite a few steps to climb before you reach the apartment (64 - I think), which is a good exercise:-).
