Venice apartment Tintoretto I is located on the first floor (no elevator) of a small characteristic building on a wide peaceful canal in the heart of beautiful Cannaregio, a quiet area of Venice steeped in history and understated beauty.
The apartment is owned by an artist who has carefully decorated this bright spacious apartment with his personal touches and furnished it with modern contemporary furniture in a manner leaving as much open space as possible whilst creating a private place to call home during your stay in beautiful Venice.
You enter this Venice apartment in the entrance hall that leads to the kitchenette, complete with cooking utensils, then into the very bright living dining area with windows overlooking the beautiful canal and also the quiet Campo dei Mori, which is situated right on the canal with its charming bridge “Ponte dei Mori”.
A small hallway leads off this room to a modern bathroom with shower over bathtub, WC and bidge and also leads into the spacious double bedroom with queen bed and and dressing room area with hanging space and plenty of space for luggage.
This area of Cannaregio feels worlds away from the tourists of San Marco, however in reality it is only a short walk down the Strade Nuova, 10-15 minutes to Rialto and then another 10 minutes to San Marco.
Cannaregio is approximately a 10 minute walk to the station and close the ancient Ghetto of Venice. The church of Madonna dell ’Orto is only four blocks away which has many paintings by Tintoretto who lived only three doors away from the apartment.

The apartment met all expectations and we were made welcome by the owner Roberto. Cannereggio has a lovely ambience and we felt away from the tourist crowds though in walking distance from the station and to San Marco. There are also many good restuarants in the area and is close to shops. The apartment is well laid out and comfortable. The only issue was that the hot water in the bathroom was very fickle. Some days the water was barely lukewarm and on good days not very hot at all. Apart from this the apartment was good in all other aspects

EXCELLENT APARTMENT,AND LOCATION PRETTY EASY TO FIND, MAINLY BECAUSE THEY FIND YOU WHEN YOUR NEAR. CLEAN WITH PRETTY SUNSET VIEWS DOWM THE CANNAL. IF I GO BACK TO VENICE i WILL GO BACK THERE. FIVE STARS

After some minor arrival problems, and getting the hot water turned on, we loved the apartment! View right onto the canal and bridge, excellent restaurant downstairs, lively neighborhood - it really can't be beat. Roberto (the owner) has his business a few doors down, and although he speaks no English he is very hospitable and we managed to communicate just fine. Canereggio is so very different from the San Marco area, and we felt we could have easily settled in for a few weeks. We'll never get enough of Venice, and hope to be back to Tintoretto I sometime in the future.

The apartment was attractive, very clean, and well stocked. It is in a nice quiet neighborhood but still close to many stores and easy access to the vaporetto. I would highly recommend this apartment to travelers.

The apartment far exceeded our expectations. The area was fantastic, only minutes away from the crowds yet quiet and relaxing. The apartment was well stocked and very comfortable and we were able to have a fantastic holiday with our two children very easily. Everything went very smoothly. We were given the keys upon our arrival and were met by roberto, a very friendly venetian. All our requirements were met and we were very happy with the service provided.
