Convenient location and quiet during the evenings with pleanty of food outlets and supermarkets close by. The best fresh food market in Roma only one block away. Travel agent over the road with loads of information and the Pope could look out on my washing! Firstly a thankyou to the wonderful introduction to the apartment by Elena who greeted us,provided vital and useful information about the accommodation and the services in the close community. The apartment is clean, functional and with personality. Could not have been more suited to our tastes. The lift provides easy access to the top floor, the 5th, and it seemed it was always available. The building is clean and quiet. It has everything you could want for cooking, washing and comfort. All of the kitchen items worked such as sharp knives and decent saucepans. Great ventilation and natural light. We have travelled to many countries in the world and I think that Australians are the only people who use tongs in the kitchen. So if you are Australian I suggest you always pack tongs. You dealt very well with our change of plans and kept us informed at each stage. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at the appartment. We considered that the presentation and layout of the appartment was great and also a great location near the Vatican. Only downside was we were not used to living in such a high building given the earthquake experiences we recently had in Christchurch and this took some getting used to. However we cannot fault the appartment or the hospitality Elena and Manuela provided. Both were excellent and Elena and Manuela took some of their time to ensure our stay was comfortable which was really appreciated.

Via Santamaura 15 is a great location - 400 meters to Ottaviano Metro Station, 150 m to Musei Vaticani with Sistine Chapel (ticket office closing at 16:00, so to avoid a long queue come at 15:30), 800 m to St. Peter's Basilica, 150 m to large fresh fruit/meat/fish market. Appartment is cozy, clean, well maintained and equipped. Ms Elena is very helpfull and professional person, speaks excellent English and French. As the appartment was vacant after our depart, she didn´t insist on a check out time in the morning and offered us to stay till the evening with no extra charge.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time in the apartment which was clean, well equipped and very homely with an authentic Italian feel. The owner was very kind and flexible as we arrived and left at different times. The location was perfect with the Vatican Museum at the end of the street and St Peters a 2 minute walk. On the last day we visited the Castle which is moments away where we enjoyed a coffee on the terrace with views of St. Peters. It also has a metro station near by which was very convenient for the other attractions and plenty of local shops. Will definately go back and would highly recommend if you want to feel like a local and get straight into your holiday.

Airy, quiet and handy to Metro and major city bus lines. Great daily market in the same street. The Friday night access to the Vatican Museum, at the end of the street, was not crowded and very pleasant.

We enjoy staying in this apartement. Very well situated ( 100 meters to Vatican museums, 500 meters to the metro, 30 meters to the supermarket ), the apartement is charming, very clean and nicely decorated. The owner introduced us. She was very helpful and gave us a lot of explanations so we felt immidiatly at home. Finally the apartement is much better than it appears in the photos.

I loved the apartment very, very comfortable, self contained, and very secure. I stayed by myself however it really could sleep 3 adults. Close to everything I needed and more. Very interesting walks. Near the Vatican wall. Very quiet in the apartment. Growers market 5 minutes walk selection of some 150 stalls undercover. Fresh food glorious food and inexpensive open every day. 2 supermarkets around the corner. 10 minutes to Octavio Railway Station. Excellent shopping area, cheap clothing stalls to expensive designer clothing shops. My thanks to Manuela and Elena who were very kind, gave me a great orientation to area and very helpful when I arrived.

We LOVED Santamaura! It's in a great location and the apartment itself is just gorgeous and feels like home. We really didn't want to leave. The fresh markets just down the road are so handy. The people in the tour office just next door are also super helpful. The noise from the traffic that constantly streams down the road got a bit much at times, but I think you get that everywhere in Rome. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else next time we visit.

Apartment Santamaura was in a great location- near the Vatican and the metro. The apartment was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Got some pork chops from the nearby fruit/meat market and cooked it in our kitchen...delicious! The beds were very comfortable. Loved the washing machine!! We would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend this apartment to our friends.

My sister and I loved this apartment. It is much better than the photos. It is a large, airy sanctuary from the noise of Rome. The location is superb. I want to move to Rome and live in the apartment.

Loved this apartment. With a view from the balcony to the Vatican wall, the location is fantastic. To get to main city centre where you will find pantheon etc it's about a 25 min walk. We had a group of 4 adults staying in the apartment and it was perfect (1 bedroom and comfy double sofa). Cooking facilities also great. And computer with free Internet a bonus. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly! Would definitely recommend.

We loved staying in this apartment. It was exactly as advertised and the location is fantastic-- very close to Vatican City. Definitely book the car service as it is very nice to be greeted at the airport and have the driver take you directly to your accomodation. The customer service was great, and we would gladly use Italy Accom again.
