Rome Apartment Ancient Trastevere is a delightful, welcoming apartment; decorated in a warm and homely style by an all around artist: musician, painter, jewelry designer.

Located in Trastevere’, one of the oldest and most characteristic part of Rome, remaining original over centuries of time.

This is not a luxury apartment, by any means; it’s a no fuss, casual apartment, clean and well maintained – excellent value for money.

This bright apartment on the second floor (no elevator) of an ancient palazzo is in a tranquil street, surrounded by greenery, minutes from the Tiber river and with minuets away from a small grocery shop and coffee shop.

The furnishings are not typical traditional Roman, but rather original in a refreshing earthy shades, italian mosaics and unique touches created by the artist proprietor.

As you walk into the apartment there is a long hallway and the master bedroom leads off to the right. It is very romantic and spacious with high ceilings.

Next along the hallway is the the living room, also very spacious and here there are two single a sofa beds, comfortable for two more people.

The hallway leads directly to the dining area where there is a table for 6 and from where you enter the lovely fully equipped kitchen.

From here you also enter the second bedroom that has two twin beds which can be made up into a double bed or kept separate.

The bathroom has been tastefully decorated with italian mosaics and has a stand up shower/Japanese style bathtub.

This Rome apartment is in an ideal location, away from the typical tourist area, yet a few minutes cross the bridge and your in Campo dei Fiori, where you can mix with the friendly locals at the famous fruit and vegetable market, where the produce is fresh and delicious.

Go food shopping and live like a local.

Also just minutes on foot from the Vatican and easy walking distance to all historic monuments.

Trastevere is well know for it’s friendly neighborhood and the variety of authentic and well priced restaurants, trattorias and bars.

This is an apartment in Rome that will definitely leave great memories of the eternal city.

Great location for a week in Rome. Spatious, clean and located in Trastevere with it's narrow streets and laid back atmosphere, the apartment was a great place for our small family of four to kick back and relax when not exploring the streets and sights. Be sure to try the sublime Trattoria da Lucia on Vicolo del Mattonato!

Really well located apartment. Trastevere is a great place to base yourself. So easy to access all of the sights yet a very local feel. Loved the cafe/bar at the end of our street. Very authentic.Lovely welcome from our host with cake and fruit upon arrival. Plenty of space for our family of five.

The apartment is situated in a quiet area that gave us all a real feel for Rome, but on our doorstep we had lively restuarants and busy piazzas. The Vatican was within easy walking distance as were many of the other sites. It was very well equipped and spacious, in fact I would say that it exceed our expectations from the description given on your website. I would certainly recommend it.

Great apartment in a great location. We walked everywhere from the Trastevere, and restaurants are very welcoming and great value. We would go back to the apartment anytime. The owner is very welcoming and the apartment has a nice feel.

We stayed at three different apartments and were absolutely thrilled with them. We had everything we needed and more.I have recommended your site to a number of other people who have since booked with your organisation. Your accomodation contributed to a wonderful holiday in Italy.

The accomodations were everything we'd hoped they'd be--particularly Angela's place. Angela greeted my family with homemade pastries, grapes and roses. The locations were great and the places were both clean. I do wish our place had more than one key as my husband and I did different things a couple of times, but that was a minor inconvenience. We will be using your service again and recommending it to our friends, one of whom has her own travel agency. Warm regards, Katrina Denza

We loved the location which was in a quiet neighborhood but well within walking distance to all of the sights. The apartment was very nice. The kitchen was great, the owner even had it stocked with bread and many other staples. There was a computer there to use which was very helpful to check directions and the owner provided us with maps as well. The only draw back was the size of the bathroom (very narrow) but given that we would stay again.

great location within walking distance to many restaurants and city sights. Comfortable appartment with helpful extras such as coffee, detergent etc.. Trastavere is a residential area with many small shops which made it fun to walk around in the evenings. Sue .D Australia

The apartment was delightful, right in the heart of the best part of Rome. You are are in walking distance of the tourist sites, but minutes from a of plethora of restaurants and bars. However the apartment is so quiet and peaceful - you would never think so! It is really spacious and comfortably decorated. You have a real feel that you live there yourself! You miss not having outside space, but you get enough air through the apartment not to get too hot (and coming from Scotland that's a big plus!). We would highly recommend it. Angela, who met us was so helpful, even though we had kept her waiting for an hour getting the bus over from Termini. The kitchen is lovely to cook in, in true italian style! We'll definitely be back!I've recommended your service to numerous people...need I say more? Leam & Ramon, Glasgow, Scotland.

The apartment was on a quiet street in an otherwise lively neighborhood, just across the Tiber from the sights our family of four(two teenagers) and a friend of theirs all wanted to see including the Vatican, St. Peter's, the Forum, etc. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable; the books, booklets and maps thoughtfully left on the kitchen table were very helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the apartment. Ellen I., USA

This apartment was great! Everything a group of 4 adults and 2 children could need. Including some groceries to get us started. The location was reasonably close to everything and we walked everywhere. The information available in the apartment was great including maps and location of things such as supermarkets, doctors and transport. Thanks for a great stay. Jane B

Location of the apartment is perfect. I forgot to book the taxi for the departure. Tanya of the after sales department helped me immediately (and very kindly).

Ancient Trastevere is a beautiful apartment on a really quiet street in the Trastevere section of Rome. It has a very spacious kitchen/dining area and a big living room, all beautifully decorated. We loved staying there!

Excellent position, ideal for restaurants, Vatican etc. Exactly as described and added to our holiday as it gave "the flavour of Rome"". Angela welcomed us and gave a tour of apartment. Very comfortable for the six of us. Wouldnt recommend for anyone too elderly though because of the stairs - four flights
