Transport
Metro: Trastevere does have it’s own station, which connects Trastevere to the the Fiumicino Airport, however this is not in the main part of Trastevere and you may need.
Tram: There are two tram lines running through Trastevere, one that runs through Viale Trastevere, a larger street that runs through the centre of Trastevere and connects the Trastevere Station with Largo Torre Argentina which is close to Piazza Navona, Campo de’ Fiori and the Pantheon. Another Tram line connects Trastevere with Testaccio, Aventino and the Colosseum and San Giovanni.
Bus: The “H” bus which connects Trastevere to Piazza Venezia and Termini Station runs steadily throughout the day and evening as well as many other bus services that run along the Tiber river. There are several electric bus services as well that connect Trastevere with the Vatican the the Spanish Steps via the Pantheon and Campo de’ Fiori
Taxi: Trastevere’s main cab rank is on Viale Trastevere near to the river Tiber.
