Rome Apartment Mura Latine is a nice apartment located in a quiet building just minutes from the Colosseum: Fori Imperiali

This is for the traveler that isn’t looking for the hustle and bustle of the regular tourist crowd; rather looking to stay in the Rome where the Romans live, with the advantage of shopping locally in the friendly neighborhood and choosing to see the sites or visit the center, close by when they wish.

The apartment is safely located behind gates in a typical gardened condominium.

The apartment is on the 3rd floor with elevator and the owner has created an “honest” renovation offering every comfort and amenity.

Well maintained, warm and homely, yet not overdone; space, comfort and value for money is the key here.

The combined living and dining area has a comfortable sofa and an antique dining area.

From the window you see the original walls of Rome, that have remained in their original state since

There are three very spacious bedrooms, one a queen bedroom and the other two have twin beds and ample wardrobe space

There are two bathrooms; an en-suite with a bath, the second has a shower.

The kitchen is decorated in high quality marble and there’s a matching marble breakfast table.

An ideal relaxing apartment to come home to after an exciting day spent walking around the eternal city.

Car parking in the area is easier than other parts of Rome as there are some free parking areas and others that cost 1 euro per hour, during the day.

A very spacious, well located apartment in a very nice neighbourhood. Easy to find & easy to get to by foot or by public transport. The use of the kitchen tap & electric plugs could be better explained, but otherwise very good. Rosie was very helpful and flexible regarding our arrival. Romolo e Remo, the local restaurant is a must, as are the cafes nearby. Buy your ticket for the Colosseum, Forum & Palatine Hill at the Palatine Hill entrance to avoid the queues! Try Luzzi, a restaurant near the Colosseum (Via Celimontana 1-3) - excellent food at very good prices! Ostia Antica, a 20 minute train ride from Rome a must.

We had some initial issues with the apartment but the way in which they were handled was excellent. The service worldwide accom. provided was second to none and I would absolutely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Apartment Mura Latine. The apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Our greeter Rosie was extremely helpful and friendly despite there being a mixup with our transfer from the train station which had her waiting for us for over an hour at the apartment to let us in.We were delighted to find that the apartment now has internet access as we had read some previous reviews which advised this was the only thing missing. The apartment is within walking distance to the Colosseum and has a bus stop across the road for getting into town. Would highly recommend this apartment for family groups as it is in a very secure location within a complex. Would love to return one day.

Wonderful location, just over a 1 km walk from the Colosseum. Easy bus from Termini, 1 bus to Colosseum. The best food we had in Rome is 1/2 block away at Romulus e Remus. Morning coffee and pastries 1 block away. Friendly Roman neighborhood, just barely outside the hustle and bustle of Tourist Rome. Very nice apartment. Highly recommended.

Beautiful apartment and a great location a pleasant 20 minute walk from the Colleseum. The view of the Roman wall from our bedroom was icing on the cake of a very comfortable four day stay. You've got to love Rome.

A lovely apartment in Rome, 10-15 min walk to the Coliseum. A fantastic restuarant only 2 mins away from the apartment called romulus and remus which makes the best pizza, the staff were great too.

This apartment is in a terrific location about fifteen minutes walk from the Colosseum. There is great shopping in the immediate area from high end to markets. The apartment is a very good size and was easily big enough for our party of six. The apartment was clean and well presented. The plumbing was a little temperamental - but we were very impressed overall.

We loved the location and the accommodation. The only amenity it lacked was internet access which would have been very helpful. We could walk ten minutes to the Colloseum. The local coffee shop was fantastic. Great space in the apartment for all 6 of us. Lots of space for all of us. We would have liked internet access. Easy access to the apartment which helped with all our luggage. We appreciated all the help we received from the landlord, and shuttle service. Even when our flights were late, she still waited and was very polite and helpful to us. Great memories of our trip to Roma.

The Mura Latine was a very pleasant surprise! the apartment was light, centrally located, a short walk to the colleseum, and much larger than expected. The 3 bedrooms were very large with huge windows, and a fan provided in each room. Very well equipped for a family of 6. There is a supermarket close by, and the apartment is in a security block, so felt extremely safe. Would definately stay here again! Sandra H, Australia

Very spacious and well maintained apartment in excellent location for the independent-minded traveller. Two bathrooms and three large bedrooms made it an excellent choice for our party of 6. And the lift is a bonus for older travellers, or families with young children, or anyone with an injury or disability. Good local, but traditional shops (ie no supermarket)and really very easy to get around Rome at large as long as you have a decent bus map (at least 3 very useful bus routes pass within 2 blocks - one even right outside). We bought an excellent route-map for only 3euro and confidently navigated our way around using a 4euro 24hr ticket that allows you to hop on and off buses and metro trains all day. If you're a keen walker it's also easy to stroll straight to the Colosseum/Roman Forum and then on into central Rome (then simply catch a bus home if you found you've walked too far). Rosie, the contact person for the apartment, was a treasure! She gave us excellent directions over the phone before we arrived, and was really friendly and full of helpful information when she greeted us there. She also booked our airport transfer for us, which turned out to be very good value once you work out the real cost of using public transport to Fiumicino (hauling luggage across town, dealing with Termini, not to mention the extra time). Rosie was fantastic - don't ever lose her!Stephanie, Australia

Our apartment was lovely. Nicer than the photos. The staff helping us were wonderful. Our location was great for walking, subway or bus. We will definitely use Italy Accom for out next trip to Italy. An apartment is much better for two couples than a hotel.
