A long corridor leads to the 3 double bedrooms, a rare find for an apartment in central Rome.

The first bedroom off to the right of the hall has an en-suite bathroom (large shower and tub that can be used as a sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room) as well as ample cupboard space.

Further along there is the children’s bedroom, with two small single beds and children decorations on the walls.

Whilst this is a comfortable apartment, perfectly located, guests should not expect luxury; rather comfort, cleanliness and location, as this is in an ancient building and has a lived in atmosphere.

This was a majic apartment in central Rome. No need to catch public transport for any of the key sites of the city. Close to all facilities, eating, cafes. It was a wonderful luxurious way to visit Rome. Highly recommended.

Our group of 4 couples was very pleased to be able to find such a large and comfortable apartment. It met all of our needs and the location could not have been better!

My family and I had a great time in Rome at the end of September, and a big part of that was the apartment Casa Eleonora. Literally just a minutes walk to Campo de Fiori and a couple of minutes to Piazza Navona. About ten minutes walk brought us to the Vatican where we saw the Pope on the first morning of our arrival. A big deal for the two young teenagers I had with me. Fortunately we are a walking family and although I sometimes stayed "at home" or went back to old haunts I knew from living in Rome in the 60's, Rome was new to the other members of the family and walked everywhere, saw all the sights and loved it. My grandaughter and her friend are planning to spend their break year there. I would recommend that visitors take time off from the busy streets to walk along the river bank. Below street level, it's quiet and empty and wonderfully soothing. The apartment was very spacious, a glorious change from most holiday lets, and I was glad of the double glazing. Rome, as I remembered, can be a very noisy place. Apart from the kitchen needing a new coffee machine and would benefit from a small microwave, everything else was fine. How convenient that the best bread shop in the area was just on the street underneath us! We used the car service you recommended to and from the airport. Prompt and efficient, it was well worth it. I haven't forgotten how friendly and helpful you were in setting up our trip. It worked out extremely well for us and I'm very grateful. Very best wishes from us all. Keep up the good work.

This apartment is a classic beauty, well-maintained and perfectly located -- only a 10- or 15-minute walk to almost every site in Rome. The facilities were in very good condition, the beds firm, and kitchen appliances all worked well. The only problem we encountered during our 4 days was not having any hot water. The hot water did not work and we were not able to shower except for one very brief time. We called the housekeeper who sent a repair technician that afternoon. He said the problem was fixed, but when we tried the hot water again it was warm for only 5 minutes and stayed cold for the rest of the time. With that problem fixed, Casa Eleonora is an elegant Rome apartment with plenty of room for a family or small group of friends. You may want to recommend baggage storage at Fiumicino Airport as well as at Termini for those arriving early. It is convenient and inexpensive. The driver who picked us up at Fiumicino Airport and then drove us to Civitavecchia for the ship -- Alessandro -- was exceptional. He was a safe driver, very personable, had an excellent sense of humor, and was very accommodating. We highly recommend him.

As a group of nine family members, including five young children, we were expecting our stay in Rome to be a little hectic. However, our lovely, spacious apartment made the trip very easy. We could not have had a better location- it was very central and accessible to most of the major sights(we walked everywhere!). It is just around the corner from the lively Campo dei Fiori and there was a great bakery just below us. It was also fun to people-watch out from one of the large windows, particularly in the evenings. Would highly recommend this apartment for larger groups.

We had a wonderful stay in Rome - this apartment is so central for all the sights in the historic centre. We did not catch a bus once. St Peters, Forum, Colleseum, Trevi, Spanish Steps, all within easy walk. We walked to the gardens of the Villa Borghese one day too for a picnic - the younger members of our party loved hiring the electric bicycle cars and tootling round the park! And Piazza Navona and Campo dei Fiori literally on the doorstep. Although on a busy intersection, the double glazing works incredibly well and the constant goings-on at street level provided endless interest. Lovely spacious accommodation - some of the decor and furnishings worn and dated, but all in all very comfortable. We needed the air conditioning as it was very hot and this was appreciated. As we always shop at the markets and cook a lot of our meals on this sort of holiday, the kitchen is always an important room - this was a little sparsely equipped (no sharp knives for preparing those beautiful vegetables!) However, these things are minor compared with the overall convenience and spaciousness of this apartment

This apartment is in the center of everything....just outside the door is a bakery, gelato, pizza. Another short block and you\'re in the Campo de Fiori. An easy walk to the Vatican. Or, if needed, taxis always available right outside the door. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our family and friends.
