My friend and I really enjoyed the apartment, especially the roof terrace ... it was wonderful to sit up there in the sunshine with a cup of tea/glass of wine after a long day walking around Rome. Attico Carina has a wonderful charm about it and although small, is well-equipped. You couldn't wish for a better located apartment, and just for a few days we really did feel like residents in our home-from-home in Rome.

Fantastic location and lovely apartment. A few issues with heating and microwave but quickly sorted by Luca, the owner. Very pleasant man with great restaurant and site seeing recommendations. The apartment was very comfortable and the roof terrace was great, even in the depths of winter. Great area to be in - Campo de Fiori was a lot of fun. Would highly recommend this apartment and gladly return.

The apartment is very spacious, comfortable and pleasant, and the roof deck is lovely. The location is ideal. Be forewarned that the 4 flights of stairs seem like a lot when you're carrying groceries!

Fantastic appartment in a great location. The owner, Luca, met us on arrival and was most accommodating spending the time with us to fully explain the facilities and offered valuable advice and help with the rest of our trip. The appartment lived up to expectation and the roof top terrace offered a great spot to to relax and look over Rome.

Two of the best things about the apartment were its owner Luca and also its position. It is within a comfortable walking distance from all the must see sights of Rome and Luca was a wealth of information and very helpful with advice even providing us with internet and mobile phone access during our stay. We loved the nearby market , Campo di Fliori with the best fruit and vegies we've ever seen plus restaurants, sit down or takeaway, bakery and a great little gelati store. Very welcome at the end of a long day sight seeing. The apartment was clean, comfortable and the A/C was a great asset as we visited during the summer. The kitchen is very small, not good if you wish to practise your Italian cooking skills but fine for the basics however access to the terrace more than made up for this as we enjoyed time there in the evening with a glass of vino or two.

Great location, apt was clean and spacious, comfortable bed. Terrace and location was the reason we chose this apt and it was perfect. It was huge, with a wonderful view of St Peter's dome, and the local area, yet very private for dining with the trellis and climbing plants. Kitchen could use some additional supplies such as more glassware, kitchen towel and a cheese grater (we bought one at the market), however we found it quite easy to make delicious meals with produce and supplies from the Campo's daily market. You need to be able to do the stairs as there really are 80 steps, I counted, but it gets easier each day. We used the optional car service and driver was there to greet us at the airport, recommend this service after a long and tiring flight. The owner was there waiting for us when we arrived and assisted with luggage up the 80 steps. He spent time to make recommendations. We would definitely rent this apt again.

My wife, Sally, and I had a wonderful week in Roma, made all the better by our choice of this excellent apartment: it's position (less than 5 minutes walk to Campo Fiore; 10 minutes to Piazza Navonna and within 20 minutes of all well known sites in the city centre) and large rooftop terrace, make the apartment great value. It's clean, tidy and well appointed. If you aren't used to Italian apartments the stairs to the 4th floor can be challenging, but after the first couple of times you do get used to them and they certainly help you to become 'acclimatised' to this typical Italian apartment 'feature'. Thoroughly recommended for all but the unfit. Car service (pick-up from Fiumicino and drop-off to Ciampino) was very good. Pick-up was a bit late, but as driver had an accident (minor) on approach, that was understandable. Both drivers friendly helpful and justly proud of their wonderful city.

Apartment is in an excellent location. The Campo dei Fiori has everything you need - butcher, baker and fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese and pasta at the daily fruit and flower morning market. Roof terrace is a definite asset and we enjoyed time spent there at all hours of the day. Wonderful views over the roof tops of the Eternal City. The roof terrace makes the 80 steps worthwhile - by the end of the 7 days we spent we were well used to them. Recommend taking a small torch as the stair lights are on timers and you can get caught between landings and switches! We used the driver and car service - both from and back to the airport. Very efficient and well worth it - it would have been hard to find the apartment ourselves. If you want to sample authentic, wood-fired oven pizza and don't mind waiting in a queue for a table - try Baffetos located nearby. If we visit again would stay here for the location and views - also quiet for a city centre location. Greg T. Scotland

The accommodation was quite comfortable. I must admit there was a heat wave happening on our arrival. The apartment was very comfortable. The owner had provided an extensive range of information on Rome for us which was invaluable. He had brought in a fan because of the heat and also being a gentleman helped the two of us (ladies) up the stairs with our very heavy bags. The area was perfect and very quiet only a minute or two away from the Campo De Fiori market place and only 10 minutes stroll to a lot of the sites to be found ie Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and main shopping areas. Pefect location and apartment. The "on/off" bus pulled up only about 5 minutes from our accommodation. Only problem was the stairs being on the top floor, not recommended for more senior travellers but we enjoyed our stay with thanks to the owner for his help and thoughtfulness.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Attico Carina. The facilities are basic but clean. There was plenty of space for a family group of three adults, although the kitchen is tiny. We particularly appreciated relaxing on the terrace after sightseeing - the view of St Peter's Dome from here is quite special. The apartment is in an excellent spot as a base for seeing all the sights within a twenty to thirty minute walk and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. We would recommend the apartment and the services provided by Italy-Accom to our friends and family. The pre-booked driver was waiting for us at the airport and outside the apartment on the morning of departure as arranged. The journey to and from the airport was excellent and full of interest. The response online has been consistently prompt and efficient before, during and after booking. Gill, England. August 2010

Attica Carina was the icing on the cake of our first visit to Rome. We were very warmly welcomed, and given a wealth of useful information on restaurants, shopping etc. in the surrounding area. We were informed to our delight, that air-conditioning had just been installed. The apartment was very homely and nicely furnished. Best of all though was the delightful roof terrace, from where we watched the sun set over St Peter's Basilica - magical!

I had to send you a note to tell you that we had a wonderful time in Italy.Ê I actually cried when it was time to come home.Ê We stayed at Attico Carina in Rome and it was a great location.Ê We had no problems walking everywhere although the steps up to the apartment were a killer.Ê We loved Apartment Giordano in Positano and we fell in love with Lucia.Ê The apartment was large and spotlessly clean.Ê It had everything in it that we could need and the grocery store upstairs was an added bonus.Ê This was my favourite place in Italy and this is the second time that we have visited.Ê The first time was in Florence, Bologna, Pisa, the Tuscany region and Venice.Ê We are already thinking of when we can go back to Poisitano.Ê It was truly a little bit of heaven.Ê Thank you for your great service and I will definitely recommend you to friends, actually, I already have.

Thanks to Italy-Accom we had an exceptional honeymoon. We arrived the day of the pope's funeral, an hour before to be exact. The car service was waiting for us at the airport to wisk us off and manuvered through the blockades to deliver us to our apartment near the Campo de Fiori, without delay. We enjoyed the apartment and the location. The apartment was well worth the investment for the week, to have privacy and clean spacious rooms. We were able to spread out in the apt, as opposed to a cramped hotel room. We had dinners out at the many restaurants but also ate in on the roof deck. We walked everywhere in the city and were able to come back for a rest or drop things off in the afternoon without going out of our way. Thank you and we willbe sure to anyone that asks for a recommendation for a stay in Rome and elsewhere in Italy.

Dear Jill - We traveled with another couple and stayed at the Casa Carina in Campo de Fiori. What a wonderful area to stay in Rome. The market was close by, the area was safe, quite and off the beaten path. The terrace at the apartment was outstanding. Every night we spent the evening upstairs enjoying our view of St. Peter and drinking the wonderful Italian vino. Your website was a great resource with so many choices that we had difficultly narrowing our choices to one. Everything was extremely convenient including checking into the apartment. We would definitely stay there again. Thank you so much for making our stay in Rome extra special.

Fantastic location, central to all places of interest. The lack of air conditioning in the apartment made our stay a little uncomfortable but this did not distract from the excellent locality. We had a warm welcome on arrival, especially from the taxi driver booked through the company - we would highly recommend this, and received lots of advice on where to go in Rome. We would definitely stay in the apartment again and can't wait to return to Rome.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable stay at Attico Carina. The apartment, as expected, was basic but adequate. The terrace was wonderful and along with the perfect location the main reason we would recommend anyone coming to Rome to stay here. Would highly recommend staying in an apartment over a hotel for a real Italian experience. We went with Leon and Jill Kammer's recommendations....Montecarlo and Baffetto for delicious thin crust pizzas, San Crispino for yummy ice cream and Sant'Eustachio for the best gran cappucino were our favourites. Everything to do with our booking was dealt with very efficiently...the only negative comment we would have is that maybe the cleaning lady should do what she is paid for!!

Apartment was great clean and in a perfect position. The 80 steps to the apartment was a little daunting but after a while it was a good workout. The convenience, location and the beautiful rooftop garden well and truly compensated for that. We were picked up at the airport by a lovely man in a nice clean (non smoking) van as recommended by Italy Accom. As it was our first trip to Rome it was perfect you are quoted the price beforehand so no suprises. We were then met by Rosie at the apartment who was helpful and friendly

The apartment was perfect for our needs. It was simple but functional and on the most beautiful little street in an ideal location for sightseeing, restaurant options, wine bars, etc. The terrace was absolutely amazing and was where we spent most of our time. We were a group of four friends. The only negative was that the two who slept in the upstairs bedroom area didn't find the bed to be very comfortable. However, given the location and the terrace, I would highly recommend this apartment and could see myself renting it again in the future.

Just a word to say how much we appreciated the apartment in Rome (despite the 80 steps to reach the IVth floor) and the recommendations of the owner on restaurants, so that we would advise to prepare a full list of good sights for the future guests. We found the apartment very well located, charming and quiet and willl not hesitate in recommending it to our friends coming to Rome."Great location ! Beautiful view ! I would re-book it any time."

This apartment is in a fabulous location. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Rome. The piazza is amazing. The apartment was spacious, the balcony is awesome and the amenities were reasonable. I would stay here again. For an apartment in Rome, this seemed like very good value. The amenities were good, especially as there was a hair dryer. We were not high users of the kitchen or dining facilities as we went out all of the time. We were happy and would definitely stay at this apartment again.

This aparment was in a fabulous location, walking distance to everywhere including restaurants covering all price ranges. The roof terrace was lovely to sit out on with a beer after a day walking round Rome. Casa Carina had everything we needed for our 4 day stay and we wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to be back in the not too distant future

Rome Accom & Casa Carina were both excellent. We always received very prompt responses from everyone in the office and we were happy with the car service at the airport as we had no idea where we were going. Casa Carina in Campo dei Fiori, was ideal for the four of us (two couples) and a great introduction to Rome. The location was very central, the market and shops in the neighbourhood allowed us to try different things every day. We spent every night on the terrace, in fact we only ate out one night, the rest of the time we had terrace parties, with things we had picked up throughout the day. We walked everywhere in the historic centre and it never felt like we were very far from the apartment, which was nice at night after a full day of walking.
