This beautiful and tastefully furnished Florence apartment is located in the privacy of a historical garden, only 5 minutes from Florence central train station.
The Florence accommodation is on two levels and is 120 sqm.
The ground floor is composed of a large typically Tuscan flavored living room with a fireplace.
There’s a sofa and tv; a fully equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher and washing machine as well as a dining area.
The rare private garden has a table and chairs.
On the first floor there’s a double bedroom with bathroom with tub.
Parking is available and inclusive on the property, free of charge.

This lovely, spacious, and rustic Tuscan-style apartment is on the grounds of an old family villa in the heart of Firenze. Ten minutes from the train station and only a 20-minute walk to the major attractions, this walled compound is a quiet oasis. We spent an entire day sitting in the manicured gardens sipping wine and reading in the autumn sun. Ceiling-high windows opening onto the gardens, an enormous (by European standards) bed and a large open bath featuring a claw-foot tub were special delights. There are good grocery stores nearby, so stocking the full kitchen and enjoying a few meals at home was a snap. Especially since we nearly always had fantastic leftovers from our many restaurant outings. The only inconvenience is the requirement to hand over the full rental and damage deposit in cash upon arrival. (The damage deposit was returned in cash the morning of our departure.) Also, there is no Internet access in the apartment. But wi-fi hotspots dot the city, and going online every few days to check email on our smartphones was easy and cheap. The apartment's owner was onsite for our arrival and briefly during the morning of our departure. She furnished us with maps, guidebooks, and a list of personal recommendations for restaurants, sights, etc. Priced less than many 3-star hotels, this well-maintained, clean, and conveniently located apartment is a fantastic bargain.

Wonderfully welcoming and comfortable base to explore Florence from. Excellent local restaurants and a good supermarket just around the corner. Can't wait for my next trip to Italy.

Sabina was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay at the apartment very much! It was such a lovely place. At the end of our stay in Florence we found out that our apartment actually has a very very huge garden... nice to explore as it has a rich history to it!! Staying here has been a very nice experience!

Your Christmas note reminded me our wonderful experience staying in your lovely home in Florence (La Magione). I never did properly thank you for the time we spent there. You were an excellent host and the gardens were absolutely lovely as was our creatively decorated nest. We loved every moment of our stay and will no doubt be back to visit. With fond memories of a vacation spend several years ago!
