Apartment Stanzione is one of the best rental properties on the Amalfi Coast; located just east of the charming village of Praiano, sitting right above the sea and near a pebbled beach called La Praia.
Apartment Stanzione is ideal for a family who loves the ocean and wants to be near it, or for a couple seeking a romantic getaway.
The entrance accesses a lounge/dining room with a sofa bed that can sleep two people.
There is a master bedroom, a kitchenette that has recently been refurbished, and a bathroom with a shower.
The front rooms open onto a truly magnificent terrace partially shaded by a lovely tree.
Below is a view of the charming cove.
The apartment has a reserved parking spot just off the road above, which is a major bonus and rarity in this area.
From the road, 100 steps lead down to the apartment’s front door and an additional 25 steps lead to the cove and water’s edge.
Nearby, and on the ocean pathway, are some bars and authentic restaurants featuring local cuisine.
And just a few minutes further along the pathway is the night club “Africana,” built in a grotto above the ocean.
Close by, is the renowned town of Positano with its picturesque streets, fine shops, and restaurants.
Also within a short drive is the fabled Emerald Grotto and Conca Dei Marini.
If you are not traveling by car, you can take advantage of the regular bus services run by the local bus company servicing any of the villages along the Amalfi Coast from Sorrento to Salerno.
Plus there is a local bus service that takes a circular route through Praiano and back and forth between Praiano and Positano until midnight.

Beautiful ocean views from a huge terrace. This apartment was very quiet and very relaxing (other than the 177 stairs up to the parking lot!). We rented a car, and this seems to be one of the only dedicated parking spaces in Praiano! We enjoyed hanging out at the restaurants around La Praia -- an easy walking distance down a lot fewer stairs or cooking and eating on the terrace. Some people might find the location a bit isolated without a car, as it would be a real trek into town on foot, but it's across from the SITA and local bus stop. We rented a water taxi to go to Positano one day from La Sibilla at La Praia, and used that company for a boat tour. Very convenient. The kitchen is small, so food prep was sometimes a challenge, but it worked.

We got back to Canada on Tuesday 7th, after a great holiday.This was my 3rd trip to Italy and although too short was wonderful and without problems. Studio Vittoria was great, small but comfortable and a great location by Spanish Steps. The Rome metro and Bus system was also excellent.. no problems, no hassels and we felt really safe. We walked the streets of old Rome for 6 days and enjoyed every bit of it. We travel on our own, I could stand to be with a tour group being lead around by by a leader holding a flag..blocking the way of other people as the group stops to listen? to the tour guide, and then forget what was said in about 5mins. I rented a car and drove to Praiano, a few km from Positano. Studio Stanizone was amazing, the best terrace and views that you could hope for, and no crowds or tour groups. Thank you for your accomodations, and organization ( Mauritzio? in Rome and Domenico in Praiano were excellent). I will reccomend your company to my friends and we intend to return to Aparment Stanzione for a longer stay in the future.
