Praiano is a beautiful little village only 10 km from Positano with a convenient bus that loops Praiano and Positano every 1/2 hour as well as being on the SITA bus route from Sorrento to Amalfi which allows you to easily visit all the major towns with the knowlege after a busy day with the rest of tourists you’ll be able to come back to the relative quiet of Praiano to relax the evening away. For those that might crave a bit of action in the evenings, Praiano is home to the famous disco African Queen, housed in a cave on the beach front ( http://www.africananightclub.it/ ) it was once frequented by the likes of JFK and Jackie Onassis, Frank Sinatra and many other personalities in the 60’s.
